Blindside is a Jin-mode trick that wounds without a fight. One of the target's hand cards is turned face-up at random, and unless it shares this card's suit they take 1 damage — about three chances in four. Defense and armor do nothing against it; only Negate stops it. It ignores range, so it reaches a distant Lord, and it costs nothing but the card. Aim it at a seat low on HP, and watch the revealed card: it stays in their hand, and now the whole table knows it.
