Fire Attack: target reveals a hand card. If you can discard a hand card of the same suit, target takes 1 fire damage (propagates through chains). Can be Negated.
Fire Attack's edge is fire damage — no Defense or Eight Trigrams blocks it, only Negate stops it. As a trick it ignores range, letting you reach across the table to burn a distant Lord. It suits an aggressive Rebel. But the target picks which suit to reveal, so play it when your own hand holds many suits — or hit someone down to a few cards with nowhere to hide.
Its true partner is Chain: link several enemies together, then a single Fire Attack ripples the fire damage down the whole line, burning the cluster at once. Huang Yueying draws a card every time she plays it (a non-delayed trick), and Huang Gai's self-wounding draws keep feeding you the matching suits you need to light the spark.
Negate is the clean answer — don't waste a Defense, it can't stop fire. If you're chained, break the link before the flames reach you. When you reveal, show a suit you think the attacker can't match so the spark never catches. And remember: an empty hand can't be targeted by Fire Attack at all.
