These Terms are an agreement between you and agoodcode studio ("we", "us"), the operator of Samkok Kin Reab (the "Game") at samkok.online, in our Android app, and related services. By creating an account, playing, or otherwise using the Game you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Game.

1. The service

Samkok Kin Reab is a free-to-play, browser-based multiplayer card game. It is under active development: we may add, change, rebalance, suspend or discontinue features, heroes, cards, modes, ratings, seasons or the whole service at any time. Progress, ratings and records may be reset or lost during updates, bug fixes or outages, and we do not guarantee that any part of the Game will be available at any particular time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Game. If you are under 20 (a minor under Thai law) you may only make purchases with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. By using the Game you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

• You may play anonymously (records tied to a device identifier in your browser) or sign in with Google.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device and Google account secure. Don't share, sell or transfer accounts.
• You may delete your account at any time in the app or via samkok.online/delete-account. Deletion is permanent.
• Choose a handle that is not offensive, misleading, or impersonating another person, brand or staff member. We may change or remove handles that break this rule.

4. Fair play & conduct

You agree not to:

• use third-party scripts, bots, clients, macros or other automation to play, queue or gather data; reverse-engineer, scrape or interfere with the servers or protocol;
• exploit bugs, desync, disconnect/takeover mechanics or matchmaking to gain advantage — report them instead (in-game bug reporter or Discord);
• manipulate ratings by win-trading, boosting, deliberately losing, smurfing or coordinating with opponents in ranked play;
• harass, threaten or discriminate against others; post hate speech, sexual content, spam, advertising, or illegal content in handles or chat;
• circumvent a suspension or ban.

We may use automated tools to detect violations. Depending on severity we may warn you, adjust or reset ratings, remove content, or suspend or terminate your access temporarily or permanently. If you believe an action was taken in error, contact aeolian.goodcode@gmail.com and we will review it.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (handles, chat messages, bug reports — "Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, reproduce, moderate and remove Your Content as needed to operate, secure and improve the Game, for as long as we retain it under our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to post it. We may remove or refuse any content at our discretion. Lobby chat is visible to other players and is not private.

6. Ranked play, ratings & leaderboards

Ratings (MMR), ranks, tiers, seasonal placements, MVP awards and leaderboard positions are game features, not property, and have no monetary value. We may recalculate, adjust, decay, reset (including at the end of a season), or remove them at any time, for balance, to correct bugs, or in response to conduct violations. Ranked matches follow the disconnect, takeover and AFK rules shown in the Game; a match completed by a stand-in after you disconnect counts for your record.

7. Support, purchases & virtual items

• The Game is free to play. Purchases do not grant gameplay advantages; they provide cosmetics, supporter / founder recognition, and similar non-gameplay perks. We do not intend to sell gameplay power.
• Support payments are processed by Ko-fi and its payment processors under Ko-fi's own terms. Prices are shown at the point of purchase.
• Perks and virtual items are a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them within the Game. They are not property, have no cash value, cannot be sold or exchanged, and may change, be replaced or be discontinued as the Game evolves or if the service ends.
• Digital perks are delivered immediately after purchase. By purchasing you expressly agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose any statutory right to withdraw once delivery begins, to the extent your local law allows such waiver. Payments are otherwise non-refundable except where required by law or by Ko-fi's refund policy. Refund questions: aeolian.goodcode@gmail.com.
• If your account is terminated for a breach of these Terms, licences to perks end without refund.

8. Intellectual property

The Game — including its name, brand, code, art, music, hero and skill names, card text and design — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms setting and its historical figures are in the public domain; our particular expression of them is not. Subject to these Terms we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and play the Game for non-commercial entertainment. Don't copy, modify, sell, redistribute or create derivative works from our assets without written permission. Streaming, screenshots and videos of your own play, including monetised ones, are welcome. Third-party open-source software is used under its respective licences https://pixelarticons.com/. If you believe content in the Game infringes your rights, email aeolian.goodcode@gmail.com with details.

9. Third-party services

The Game uses or links to services run by others — Google (sign-in), Ko-fi / Stripe / PayPal (payments), Discord (community), browser push services, and app stores such as Google Play. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. If you install the Game from an app store, that store's terms also apply.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the accuracy of ratings or results.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or wilful misconduct, or for gross negligence (Civil and Commercial Code §373), or any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of data, ratings, virtual items or goodwill; and our total liability to you for all claims arising from the Game in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of THB 1,000 or the amount you paid us in that period.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Game or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Game (in which case we will try to give reasonable notice). Sections 5, 7 (as to no refunds and licence end), 8, 10, 11, 14 and 15 survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice in the Game, on Discord, or by email if you have signed in, together with the effective date. If you keep using the Game after the effective date you accept the new Terms; if you don't agree, stop using the Game and you may delete your account. Non-material changes (clarifications, typos) take effect on posting.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Thailand (Bangkok) have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in another country, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of your local law or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first — most issues can be resolved informally.

15. General

• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Game.
• Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in force.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign them to a successor of the Game's business, with notice to you.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (outages of hosting or third-party providers, network failures, attacks, natural events, government action).
• Notices. We may notify you in the Game, on Discord, or at the email linked to your account. You can reach us at aeolian.goodcode@gmail.com.
• Language. These Terms are provided in English and Thai. In case of conflict, the Thai version prevails.
