Jin heroes start the game face-down: no hero and no HP are shown, they have no skills, and they count as male. They appear at the start of their own turn, or the first time they would lose HP — that loss is prevented. Seat 1 never starts face-down. Jin heroes are only dealt in Jin mode (a room / solo option).
Once per play phase, pick another player who holds cards. One of their hand cards, at random, is shown shuffled together with the top 2 cards of the deck. Pick one: if it is theirs, take all three; otherwise take the card you picked. Cards gained this way don't count toward your hand limit this turn.
Shell Game is a guessing game with no wrong answer. Once per play phase, pick another player who holds cards: one of their hand cards, chosen at random, is shown shuffled together with the top two cards of the deck, and you pick one. Find their card and you take all three; miss and you still keep the card you picked. Nothing you gain this way counts toward your hand limit this turn, so a big haul never forces a discard. Your odds of finding it are about one in three whoever you pick, so pick for what a hit costs them: the player whose few cards are all that keeps them alive. Sizing Up is her Ambush. She starts the game face-down, showing no hero, no HP and no skills, and if she would lose HP before her first turn, the loss is prevented, she appears, and she plays Shell Game on the player whose turn it is — a free one that leaves her own untouched. The seat that hits the face-down card first usually pays for it out of their own hand. Her cost is the body: 3 HP and no defensive skill once she is revealed, so the cards she gathers are her only armor.
