Lightning: delayed card placed on yourself. At your turn-start you judge — Spade 2-9 strikes you for 3 thunder damage, anything else passes the card to the next seat clockwise.
Seed Lightning on yourself while you're healthy and let it drift around the table. A strike each turn is unlikely, but a hit is a brutal 3 damage that can drop a wounded hero outright. It's a Rebel or Traitor tool for pressuring the whole board — Lord's camp included — without spending an Attack, best played on a crowded table so it rolls past enemies before looping back to you.
Sima Yi's judgment-editing can make Lightning skip past him and pass on, or rig it to strike an enemy who's currently holding it. Zhuge Liang's Stargaze arranges the top cards to set the judgment up in advance. And if victims are linked by Chain, the 3 thunder damage spreads to everyone shackled together at once.
Dismantle or Steal can strip Lightning off whoever's carrying it before their turn-start judge — but you can't peel it off yourself, so you'll need a teammate. Negate cancels the strike outright at judgment, while Defense does nothing against it. If you can't clear it, keep a Peach ready or lean on Hua Tuo to heal back the 3 — and never sit Chained while the storm is roaming nearby.
