Trades one damage for two of their cards, so it is a control weapon, not a killing one — and the trade is worst exactly when it is tempting. Never freeze a blow that would finish them: a kill outvalues any hand. Best against a seat sitting on armour, a horse or a parked delayed trick, since the strip reaches the whole board area rather than just the hand.
